Earlier, on the same occasion, President To Lam signed Decision No. 647/QĐ-CTN dated July 5, 2024 awarding the First-Class Labor Medal to the SAV to recognize its outstanding achievements in its work and its contribution to the course of building socialism and defending the homeland. This highly honored award is to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of the generations of SAV staff, civil servants, and employees over the past 30 years.
At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Van Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Emulation and Reward announced the decision and presided over the awarding ceremony. Mr. Phan Van Hung invited the SAV leaders to the position of honor to hear the announcement of the decision and receive the prestigious award from the Party and State. The SAV leaders invited to the stage included: Mr. Ngo Van Tuan, Member of the Central Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Auditor-General; Mr. Ngen Tuan Anh, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Auditor-General; Mr. Doan Anh Tho, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Auditor-General; Ms. Ha Thi My Dzung, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Auditor-General; and Mr. Bui Quoc Dzung, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Auditor-General.
It is evident that over the past 30 years of construction and development, the SAV has continuously grown and matured in every aspect, establishing itself as a crucial and effective tool for the Party and State in monitoring and controlling the management and use of public finance and assets, contributing to the fight against corruption, negative practices, and wastefulness.
The SAV activities not only contribute to enhancing the accountability of various levels of government and organizations in managing and using public finances and assets but also effectively support the leadership of the Party, as well as the National Assembly in its legislative, oversight, and decision-making functions on critical national issues.
The results of audits, conclusions, and recommendations are made public and transparent, contributing to the fight against wastefulness, corruption, and negative practices, receiving high praise and support from officials, Party members, and the people, playing a significant role in the construction and protection of the homeland.
Recognizing the SAV's outstanding achievements in its formation and development course, and its important contributions to building socialism and protecting the homeland, the Party and State have awarded the SAV numerous prestigious honors, including: 2 times receiving the Independence Medal (Second Class and Third Class), 2 times receiving the Labor Medal (First Class and Second Class), 3 times receiving the Government Emulation Flag, and 3 times receiving the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit.
