There were around 400 auditors, accountants and experts working in the public sectors around the globe presented at the Conference including: the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Ministry of Justice from Ireland, World Bank, ACCA, Ministry of Finance from Zambia, Australia’s Treasury, Singapore Accountancy Commission…
The attendants discussed several focused subjects such as: The transparency and accountability from implementing international standards, The public sector in the digital era, Strategic human resource management in the public sector. Improving the quality of public finance management and the quality of human resource, etc.
At the conference, Vinh presented a report on “State Audit office of Vietnam in the digital era”. In his report, Vinh focused on three main topics namely Digital era’s characteristics, Identifying challenges and opportunities for audit sector in general and for SAV in particular. He also talked about SAV’s direction in implementing Information Technology and Industrial Revolution 4.0’s achievements such as Big Data, Iot-Internet connection, AI-Artificial Intelligence, among others into audit practices. The experience in applying IT in the audit practice of the State Audit of Vietnam received good attention from participating experts at the conference.
