(sav.gov.vn) - The year 2024 holds significant importance in successfully implementing the 2021-2025 Five-Year Socio-Economic Development Plan and advancing the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) Development Strategy by 2030. Notably, this year marks the SAV's audit of numerous key plans, programmes, policies, and directives of the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government, including themes serving the oversight activities of the National Assembly and its Standing Committee. Furthermore, 2024 is a landmark year, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the SAV’s establishment (11 July 1994 - 11 July 2024). With utmost determination and effort, the entire Office has excellently and comprehensively fulfilled its work plan, affirming the confidence and resilience of its 30-year legacy, while making a substantial contribution to national development and progress.
(sav.gov.vn) - Recognizing the critical importance of environmental protection (EP) for the country's sustainable development, the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) has proactively researched and oriented the development of its organizational structure to carry out professional, effective environmental audits (EA) in line with both Viet Nam’s practical needs and international standards.
(sav.gov.vn) - In order to enhance the audit quality and meet practical and international integration requirements, Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan, has signed Decision No. 08/2024/QĐ-KTNN, issuing the Audit Standards of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) (SAV ASs).
(sav.gov.vn) - In the context of globalization, the demand for environmental protection is increasingly being emphasized to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In line with this trend, the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) continuously promotes the sharing of auditing experience and methods between Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) through INTOSAI forums, creating opportunities for mutual learning and enhancing the ability to address global challenges in general, and environmental challenges in particular.
(sav.gov.vn) – As part of the 2024 International Cooperation Plan, a delegation from the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) participated in a training course on information technology (IT) auditing at the National Audit Office of China from December 16 to 21.
