On the afternoon of June 15, 2023, at the Headquarters of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) - 116 Nguyen Chanh, Ha Noi, a conference was held to announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the appointment of the new Deputy Auditor-General for Mr. Bui Quoc Dzung. Member of the Executive Board of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai attended and spoke at the conference.

The conference welcomed the presence of the leadership representatives of the Office of the Party Central Committee, the Central Organization Department, the Central Inspection Committee, the Central Committee for Internal Affairs, the Party Committees of the Central Agencies and several other Parliamentary Committees.
Representing SAV at the conference were Member of the Executive Board of the Party Central Committee, Auditor-General Ngo Van Tuan, Deputy Auditors-General and Leaders of SAV's subordinate units.
According to Resolution No. 796/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 9, 2023 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, announced by Deputy Head of the Working Committee of the National Assembly Deputies Nguyen Tuan Anh, Mr. Bui Quoc Dzung, General-Director equivalent of the General Affairs Department, Office of the Party Central Committee was appointed to assume the position of Deputy Auditor-General from June 12, 2023 with a 5-year term.

On behalf of the National Assembly Leadership, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai congratulated Mr. Bui Quoc Dzung on his new responsibility, citing the confidence the Party and State leaders have placed on him. “Mr. Bui Quoc Dzung is a young yet well-trained cadre who has experienced through various positions, always strives for fulfillment of any assigned tasks. With the knowledge and experience he possesses in the field of economics, particularly macroeconomics, I believe that Mr. Dzung will succeeded in the new position so as to meet the set expectation of the leaders of the Party and State, the Party Personnel Committee, and SAV leadership; and with his commitment to this duty, SAV’s Party Personnel Committee, Party Committee, Leaders, civil servants and employees will continue to remarkably perform the assigned mandate and functions, contributing to the effective implementation of SAV Development Strategy by 2030.”, said Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
Mr. Hai highly praised the trainings, coaching and development of SAV's human resources development. SAV’s human resources plenty in quantity, in-depth in professional expertise, rich in pratical experience throughout SAV's subordinate units have become an attribute of professionalism, standardisation in SAV activities and have provided a hub of strategic-level cadres and qualified individuals for the National Assembly Committees.
The Deputy Chairman further highlighted that, with great political determination, efforts, and tradition of solidarity, SAV has been promoting its role as an important monitor of public finance and assets; effectively supporting the supervision activities of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee; making enormous contributions to the fight against corruption, wastefulness and negativity.
Newly-appointed Deputy Auditor General Bui Quoc Dzung delivered his words at the conference
Delivering his address at the conference, the new Deputy Auditor-General Bui Quoc Dzung expressed his gratitude to the Secretariat, the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly Standing Committee, and SAV leadership for having entrusted him with great tasks and responsibilities. The new Deputy Auditor-General emphasized that being appointed to such a position is both a privilege and a great responsibility. He committed himself to constantly cultivating, practicing, promoting professional capacity, while standing in unity with the SAV leadership and devoting his knowledge, experience to SAV's development course so that the Office would lead as an example of a public monitor of prestige, responsibility, professionalism and modernity.
Along with Mr. Bui Quoc Dzung, there are four other Deputy Auditors-General, including Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Mr. Dang The Vinh, Mr. Doan Anh Tho, Mrs. Ha Thi My Dzung.
