(sav.gov.vn) - Within the framework of the non-project asisstance on “Capacity Enhancement Support for the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV)” funded by the General Court of Audit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Workshop on State Audit Standards aligned with those of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) officially commenced on the morning of 23 July in Da Nang City.
(sav.gov.vn) – In its capacity as a member of the Audit Committee of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) for the 2024–2027 term, the delegation of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV), led by Deputy Auditor General Bui Quoc Dzung, attended the 62nd ASOSAI Governing Board Meeting and the first Joint ASOSAI–ARABOSAI Conference from 17 to 19 July 2025 in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan.
(sav.gov.vn) – Following a courtesy reception on the morning of 17 July, State Auditor General of Viet Nam, Mr. Ngo Van Tuan, chaired a professional conference between the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) and the State Audit Organisation of Laos (SAO), held at the SAV headquarters. The conference was themed “The involvement of SAIs in the state budget planning cycle and mechanisms, procedures, and methods for monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations.”
(sav.gov.vn) – Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman of Viet Nam, Mr. Tran Thanh Man, emphasized the need to further enhance the practical and effective partnership between the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) and the State Audit Office of Laos (SAO), during a reception held on the afternoon of 17 July at the National Assembly Office for the visiting Lao delegation led by SAO Laos President Mr. Viengthavisone Thephachanh.
(sav.gov.vn) – During 9–10 July 2025, the 8th Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) of the ASEAN Supreme Audit Institutions (ASEANSAI) was convened in Manila, the Philippines, with the participation of 27 delegates from the 10 ASEANSAI member Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).
(sav.gov.vn) – From 22 to 23 May 2025, the first annual meeting of the ASOSAI Working Group on Regional and Municipal Audit (WGRMA) for the 2025–2027 term was held in Saint Petersburg, the “cultural capital” of the Russian Federation. The meeting aimed to facilitate knowledge sharing among ASOSAI WGRMA members, enhancing professional capacity and promoting the dissemination of best practices in public sector auditing across Asia.
