On 3 October 2017, “the Third Regional Workshop on ISSAI Financial Audit and Forensic Auditing” was held in Jakarta, Indonesia. There were 30 participants came from many SAI members of ASEANSAI, SAI Sweden and representatives from other organizations such as ADB, GIZ, INTOSAI. The Workshop was endorsed by ADB as part of the “Enhancing the role of Supreme Audit Institute in some ASEAN countries” project.
Workshop’s Participants
Technical Working Group of SAV’s representatives gave two presentations at the Workshop regarding the SAV’s implementation and compliance with ISSAIs; its accomplishments, challenges and needs in developing a Financial Audit Guidline for ADB financed projects.
Other main agenda of the workshop were to report ISSAI implementation and compliance process on financial audits; discussing and exchanging experiences on forensic audit; setting up plan to update the Financial Audit Guidelines and train personel to carry out financial audits in ADB-financed projects, as well as discussing how to improve compliance with ISSAIs by ASEANSAI’s members.
