On the morning of October 16, 2023, the Audit Training Insitute held the opening ceremony of "Auditing skills training course for civil servants and auditors of SAO Laos in 2023" at Cua Lo Training Branch, Nghe An province.

The Opening Ceremony was attended by Mr. Ngo Van Dzung - Deputy Director General of the Audit Training Insitute, Mr. Viengkham Simmalayvong - Deputy Director General of the Department of Organization and Personnel, the State Audit Organization of Laos (SAO); Representatives from various departments and faculties of the Institute and 20 officilas of SAO.
A group of 20 civil servants and auditors of SAO participated in the training course
During this course, SAO’s civil servants and auditors would receive training in performance audit, focusing on areas such as state budget and state-owned enterprises, capital construction investment and financial institutions and banks lectured by SAV’s experts. Through this training, participants would acquire knowledge and skills to identify practical solutions to assist SAO in effectively fulfilling its assigned functions and tasks.

In his opening speech, Mr. Ngo Van Dzung expressed his gratitude to his colleagues from SAO for their close and effective cooperation in recent times, as well as their efforts in preparing and organizing this significant training course. He recommended that the participants should pay great attention in order to achieve the best possible upon completion the course.
As per the scheduled plan, the training course was set takes place from October 16 to December 10, 2023.
